This is one of our favourites to do live and quite often we open with it! Because we have the old (cough cough… Dad) and the new in our band, we like our mashups and covers to reflect that! As you all could imagine, Dad likes the old stuff, while Simon likes the hits of the ’80s and ’90s, and Mick loves the 2000s and beyond so by mashing them all up, everyone’s happy!

John says this is the "headiest" song he ever wrote. Something about Nietzsche and Jesus and moral evolution and... ah well I kind of checked out after that. But it is a rocking tune to do live and features us all singing together in unison, and that doesn't happen in any other song so that's fun.
Time After Time / World Spins Madly On
We've all been stuck in our houses for a couple months and for us that has allowed some time to try out some recording. We thought these two songs were a good fit for COVID time - The Weepies one is basically an entire song about lying in bed all day feeling depressed, and the Cyndi Lauper one expresses a commitment to being there when things are going badly. So, kinda finding balance in our isolation :-)
